The Isar River trails offer some of Munich's best walking. The river was renaturalized and is beautiful.
**Route:**
Can walk for miles along either bank. Popular section: Reichenbachbrücke south through Flaucher area.
**Dog Swimming:**
Dogs love the Isar! Gravel beaches and shallow areas. Unofficial dog area at Flaucher.
**Summer:**
Very popular on hot days - locals swim and BBQ. Relaxed atmosphere.
