Mafra Tapada Walk

The Tapada Nacional de Mafra is a former royal hunting ground - now a protected forest park. **Wildlife:** Deer and wild boar (viewed from a distance). Keep dogs under close control. **Trails:** Multiple marked trails. Shaded and cool even in summer. **Entry:** Small entry fee. Dogs must be on lead. Worth the drive from Lisbon.
