Casa de Campo
Parks & Nature in Madrid

About this place
Casa de Campo is one of Europe's largest urban parks at over 4,200 acres. Originally a royal hunting estate, it's now a paradise for dogs.
**Dog Paradise:**
Most of the park allows dogs off-leash. Endless trails through pine and oak forests. The lake is popular for swimming dogs (unofficial but tolerated).
**Facilities:**
Several restaurants and kiosks. The cable car (Teleférico) offers great views but doesn't allow dogs. The zoo is here too.
**Access:**
Metro stops at Lago, Batán, and Casa de Campo. Best explored on foot - plan for a long walk!
