Carmencita dates from 1854 and has been lovingly restored. The food is excellent modern Spanish, and dogs are welcome. **Heritage:** One of Madrid's oldest restaurants. Pablo Neruda and García Lorca dined here. **Dog Policy:** Dogs welcome on the terrace. Inside is small so terrace is best for dogs. **Food:** Updated Spanish classics. Excellent wine list.
