Highgate Wood

Highgate Wood is an ancient 70-acre woodland that has existed for over 8,000 years. It's magical for both dogs and their humans. **Woodland Walks:** Winding paths through ancient oak, holly, and hornbeam trees. Off-leash allowed throughout. Very atmospheric in autumn. **Wildlife:** Home to foxes, bats, woodpeckers, and over 70 species of birds. The rare wild service tree grows here. Dog owners should be mindful of wildlife. **Café:** The Sports Ground Café in the center of the wood is excellent and very dog-friendly. Great cakes and coffee!
