Capital Ring - Section 1

The Capital Ring is a 78-mile walking route circling London through parks, woodlands, and open spaces. Section 1 is a perfect introduction. **Route:** Woolwich Foot Tunnel to Falconwood - about 5 miles through Maryon Wilson Park, Oxleas Wood, and Shepherdlees Wood. Well-marked with Capital Ring signs. **Experience:** Surprisingly rural - ancient woodland, meadows, and great views. Much of it is off-leash friendly for dogs. **Transport:** Easy to reach by public transport at both ends. DLR to Woolwich, train from Falconwood.
