Carrera Cafe - Trendy spot on Melrose with Instagram-famous mural. Coffee is $5-7 (pricey but good). Outdoor seating is dog-friendly. Limited street parking (metered). Dogs must stay on the patio. Very "see and be seen" crowd. Better for photos than lingering. Bring your own water bowl.
